Who we are...
Gardner Appraisal Group, Inc. is a full service Farm and Ranch real estate appraisal firm, owned by Derry T. Gardner, who began appraising ranches in 1983 when he went to work for his late father, Thomas R. Gardner who had been an appraiser since 1959. Derry specializes in farm and ranch appraisals and is fully certified by the State of Texas. Gardner Ranch Sales, LLC sells farms and ranches in the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains regions of Texas (South and Central Texas). At the time of Tom’s death, he and Derry had a combined 75 years experience in appraising ranches, bring a unique insight into the Texas ranch market.

Farm and Ranch appraisals – we have prepared over 1,000 rural property appraisals in central, south, and west Texas. Derry considers ever changing land values at a particular period in time to provide the most accurate estimate and analysis of improved or unimproved rural property. Included in the information in our appraisals are a detailed description of the property and any improvements, the cost of the improvements, the current and future use of the property, and a comparison with recently sold and similarly situated properties.
